All of these in one show: CSI Las Vegas.

After its debut from October 2000, it has become one of the most popular shows in television earning a series of TV awards. At the same time, the show has produced and featured famous celebrities. The show focuses on forensic scientists and agents located within Vegas as they tackle an unusual rise in number of deaths and crimes.

As each plot progresses, viewers will understand that all of these are caused not by convicts but just regular people—rich or poor, educated or not—with different agendas and grudges. All of them have either something to gain or something to lose. It’s up to the CSI team to unveil their identities to the public and to bring justice to those who have been harmed.

CSI Las Vegas: Achievements And Criticisms Over The Years

With the fact that the show was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and CBS Paramount Television, it has reached different channels around the world. Throughout its 9 years of existence, it has received great feedback from television viewers from around the world. At the same time, with its success, it has gained things other than prestige such as exhibits in popular museums, books and video games. In the long run, the show had left people craving for more. Thus, the creation of two additional CSI shows happened: CSI Miami and CSI New York.

Unfortunately, even with the many achievements of the show, it has also received some criticisms by different people and organizations regarding its graphic violence and sexual content. Because it was shown in public television cables, children had access to it. At the same time, many police and lawyer associations greatly criticized the show because of the fact that it was voluntarily showcasing the equipment and technology used in solving crimes.

Other than these, the award winning TV series tackles the battle between the good and dark side of human nature. Greed, jealousy and revenge are usually the main causes of crimes which occur in the city. Although everything in the show is considered fiction, one cannot stop but wonder what lies behind the lights and the fancy decorations. That is why CSI Las Vegas has become a popular show for people to use in order to feed their thirst for knowledge.
